I have gone to many medspas and facial surgeons and have always felt pressured by their staff and nurses to purchase additional or different services than I originally came in for. It’s made me extremely nervous to get any injectables or treatments because the last thing I want is to regret my decision and deal with all of the financial and mental struggles trying to reverse them. With Dr. Jalalabadi, I can say that he is hands down my favorite facial surgeon.. When I walked into his consultation room, I told him about some of my insecurities and what I was considering getting done to fix them. Instead of trying to tell me I need “more” than what I was asking for or trying to sell me on a more expensive option, he walked me through realistic outcomes for each treatment. He wasn’t pushy about which one was best, but he gave me the ability to make an informed decision by educating me and walking me through my options. One of the KEY things he brought up that no other surgeon has during my time “shopping” were keloids. I have a visible keloid scar on my chest that other surgeons were aware of and I’m a Black woman so I’m more susceptible to keloid scarring. He mentioned that this may be a concern for any surgical options. This should be the bare minimum but again, the only surgeon that has flagged this. I knew immediately after leaving Dr. Jalalabadi’s office that I would not be shopping around for another surgeon. Apart from him making this one of the most comfortable experiences I’ve ever had, his staff is so kind, his office is gorgeous, and his work is absolutely amazing. I’m SO IN LOVE with my results and my confidence has never been so high.
